Getting reading to travel down to Sydney to kick off Bloomsday celebrations a few days early at the The Gaelic Club for the Joyce Jam at 6pm. I’ll be reading my prose poem about reading Ulysses called ‘Cites that are not Dublin’. I’ll be reading with Linda Adair and Anne Casey and a host of fabulous musicians and performers (details see https://rochfordstreetreview.com/…/bloomsday-comes…/
Thanks to the Prankqueans in n partnership with the Consulate General of Ireland, Sydney the Irish Support Agency NSW Inc. and of course the wonderful The Gaelic Club in Sydney.
Tickets are available from https://isa.supporterhub.net.au/events/joycejam2026
If for some strange reason you can’t make it to Gaelic Club tonight you can join in the fun by following the Rochford Street Review 2026 Bloomsday Supplement which will continue to load Joycean and Dublin related work over the next few days https://rochfordstreetreview.com/reviews/rochford-street-review-2026-bloomsday-supplement/
The picture, by the way, was taken on the morning of Bloomsday in Dublin in 2016 outside the The James Joyce Centre Dublin.
